The meeting held at PM´s official residence in Baluwatar discussed the contemporary political issues like peace process and constitution drafting process among others.
It has been learnt that the duo also discussed about the widening rift in the party and ways to iron out the growing differences between the radical faction and the party establishment.
The party establishment´s central committee meeting (CC) is currently underway at Hotel Summit, Lalitpur. The politburo members are scheduled to express their views in today´s meet.
The CC meet is also expected to chart out its strategy against the hardliners.
Earlier, the rival faction had accused the party chairman of failing to implement the decisions of last CC meet to dissolve the current government leadership and mobilize the masses to frame “people´s constitution” and integrate the PLA into the Nepali Army in a “dignified” manner.
