KATHMANDU: vice chairman and former minister of Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal (RPP-N) Hem Bahadur Malla died at Norvic on Tuesday.
Malla passed away while undergoing treatment at Norvic hospital.
He was 75.
He was suffering from heart and liver diseases as well as lung cancer. He was admitted to the hospital since 15 days.
He was the Senior Vice-President of the RPP-Nepal since 2062 B.S. He is survived by his two wives, a son and three daughters.
Leaders of the RPP-Nepal including president Kamal Thapa, among others, have reached the Norvic Hospital to pay tributes to the late Malla.
Malla´s body would be kept at the party central office at Baluwatar from 9 a.m.to11 a.m. for paying of last respects. His last rites would be performed today at the Pashupati Aryaghat.
