MJF-G recalls Minister Yadav from govt

KATHMANDU, JUL 02 – Minister for Information and Communications Raj Kishor Yadav has been recalled from the government.

Leaders of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Ganatantrik (MJF-L) submitted a letter to Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai on Monday informing him about the party decision to recall Yadav from the Cabinet.

The Central Committee meeting of MJF-L decided to sack Yadav as the acting chairman of the party. Senior leader Nandan Kumar Dutta was appointed as the new acting chairman following Yadav’s dismissal.

“We have mentioned that Yadav was recalled from the government as he was sacked from the post of acting chairman by the Central Working Committee meeting of the party,” said Dutta. “We are scheduled to meet the president on Monday,” he added.

“The prime minister has been protracting the decision procedure by misusing the information minister with the help of post, power and money to attract the central members towards him,” said Dutta. “We have been received the information that attempts were made to buy our central members but that would not make a difference.”ekantipur
