The Nepal Army Thursday said it would remain under the “legitimate government” and follow “legitimate orders of the government that are in the interest of the country and the people”.
“Apart from being the national army of all the Nepali people the Nepal Army has made its non-political charater clear to everybody. The NA will remain under the legitimate government and will only follow the letigimate orders of the government that are in the interest of the country and the people,” the statement read.
Issuing a press statement Thursday, the NA the said it was concerned about media reports and views expressed in different public forums regardings its position in the current political scenario.
