KATHMANDU, JUL 14 – CPN (Maoist) Chairman Mohan Baidya is all set to leave for China on Sunday.
He is heading for China at the invitation of Communist Party of China (CPC).
This will be Baidya’s first foreign visit after being the chairman of the new party. His visit has been taken in a serious note.
According to party spokesperson Pampha Bhusal, party foreign department chief Indra Mohan Sigdel is also leaving for China with Baidya.
The leaders are due to hold discussion on bilateral ties between the two communist parties of the country and situation that has emerged following the party split, among other issues.
Ai Ping, the point person in the CPC on South Asian affairs during his Nepal visit had invited Baidya to visit China.
