KATHMANDU, JUN 01 – President Ram Baran Yadav has expressed his displeasure over the attempt by political parties to disintegrate the country in the name of caste, region and religion. He said that he has doubts how the situation would result.
“Our country has never been divided in the name of caste, language, and religion since time immemorial and we have always been united. But I fear about the changes that the present condition would bring about,” said journalist BP Sah quoting the president.
President Yadav has also said that he was sad that the Constituent Assembly was dissolved without the knowledge of the CA chairman. “CA chairman was in Singha Durbar,” the President said. “How did the CA dissolve without the chairman reaching the CA building,” he questioned. He also expressed his dissatisfaction over the soft tendency shown by CA Chairman Subash Chandra Nembang.ekantipur
