“Terming the four-point deal as “anti-nationalist” is an attack on the emotions of the Madhesis :YADAVA
SARLAHI, OCT 01 – Tarai Madhesh Loktantrik Party (TMLP) Chairman and Irrigation Minister Mahendra Yadav claimed that the current government would conclude the processes of peace and constitution writing.
Speaking at a programme organised at Nawalpur of Sarlahi district on Saturday, Yadav said the general people have also supported the current government.
“Both the UCPN (Maoist) and the Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha (SLMM) are revolutionary forces. Therefore, this coalition would work according to the expectation of the people and conclude the constitution and peace process,” said Yadav.
Yadav stated that the opposition along with a faction of the Maoists are tagging the four-point deal, made between the Maoists and SLMM, as “anti-national” to defame honest, accomplished and trusted person like Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai.
“Terming the four-point deal as “anti-nationalist” is an attack on the emotions of the Madhesis. The frustration is obvious for not being able to participate in the government for the first time,” said Yadav. He said the opposition envies the popularity of the current government.
Stating that the current ruling coalition is working on solidarity, Yadav claimed that the government would anyhow complete the peace and constitution. “The government would be compelled to take strong measures against those who obstruct the processes,” said yadav.Amankoirala, ekantipur
