RAJBIRAJ, NOV 04 – Madhesi Janadhikar Forum-Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav on Friday accused India of conspiring to dissolve the Constituent Assembly (CA).
Addressing a program organised at Saptari, Yadav revealed that the Indian leaders call Madhesi leaders to Delhi and instruct them to dissolve the CA.
He said that India is attempting to dissolve the CA as the Indian leaders are not very satisfied with it. “India is not in favour of the democratic republican constitution. Therefore they are trying to disrupt the CA,” said Yadav.
Yadav further said that his party is a change-making one and is in favour of completing the new constitution therefore, the party was split several times under the direction of foreigners.
Yadav also accused the major parties of wasting their time in power-politics instead of working for peace and constitution. He is also cynical about the proper execution of the seven-point deal made between the major parties. “Handing jobs to six and a half thousand Maoist combatants would not solve the problem. The armed forces of the hills and Madhes should also be incorporated into the peace process,” said Yadav.
Saying that the Madhesis would start a vigorous struggle if they are given their rights, Yadav said, “All the Madhesis should be ready for the struggle.”
