PM Bhatttarai to address nation today
Two days after achieving breakthrough in the long-stalled peace process, Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai is addressing the nation over radio and television on Thursday at 6:15 pm.
The address being delivered on the eve of Nepali New Year 2069 will focus on peace and constitution, it is learnt. It will be telecast live through the state-owned and other private channels.
During the address, PM Bhattarai is expected to assure his countrymen that the nation will get the new constitution by the May 27 deadline.
PM Bhattarai is addressing the nation a day after the Pushpa Kamal Dahal, the chairman of his party UCPN (Maoist) said that the new developments now pave the way for a national unity government and the promulgation of the statute. nepalnews.com
