blast in Janakpur, four Dead‚ injures 10
Janakpur: An explosive devicefused to explode under specific conditions went off at the Ramanand chowk in Janakpur on Monday leaving four dead and ten other injured.
The deceased have been identified as Binod Sharan, aka, Satya Narayan Jha, Ranju Jha, Jhagru Mandal and Suresh Upadhaya.
Meanwhile, the injured are receiving treatment at the Janakpur Regional Hospital.
Nobody has yet owned up the responsibility of bomb plantation.
The tragedy took place when a two-hour long shutdown announced by Mithila Struggle Committee protesting against UCPN-Maoist’s federalism proposal, was about to end at 10 am.
